| Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industrial Development Bureau, Institute for Information Industry, Industrial Technology Research Institute, Texas Instruments, Aiptek, Foxconn, Tatung, Atech Totalsolution and Digitimes jointly held "Cross-strait small memory card workshop" at Grand Hyatt Taipei in Apr 8, 2003. The successful event had more than 1000 attendees flooding the 700-seats meeting room. More than 50 makers in PDA/DSC/ mobile phone/MP3 player from China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea signed up to join CUD International Association (CUDIA) and expressed strong interests in designing products with CUD card. | |
